How can I get in touch with Karol?
Thanks,
ScottScottHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09996066169352779903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620016616107080003.post-7136124073345776412010-06-01T17:05:41.914-05:002010-06-01T17:05:41.914-05:00We have been visiting with Karol Miller for severa...We have been visiting with Karol Miller for several years and at the moment he is cleaning out to move back to his home state of Texas. In that process we now have a Turbo set up for Y Block for sale on our website, new, made by and for Karol Miller. See it at www.reds-vintage-parts.com. Enter search term "turbo" in the box above the Red Line logo.
He still has a couple of his cars :~)

Marilyn & Red HamiltonMendoparkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18304690194363623870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620016616107080003.post-8613156085779402022009-06-14T13:16:20.712-05:002009-06-14T13:16:20.712-05:00Thank you, Susan. The performance he was able to wring out of the humble Y-block in the 1950s was incredible and a result of his inquisitive nature and never-ending quest to build horsepower.

Please let him know that I've been a big admirer since the late 50s, when I was just a 12-year-old reading about his conquests in Hot Rod magazine. Of course, I know his successes aren't limited to the Y-block, either. I remember his blown Lincoln dragster Nationals success, as well as the incredible performance of the Starliner he drove to the flats.

On the offhand chance you might have any picture scans of your Dad's '56 I would love to receive and possibly post them. If so, you may email to yblockhead@yahoo.com.

It's great to hear Karol is still actively pursuing his automotive passions. He has many admirers. Thanks again, John

P.S. Of course, the credit for the article goes to the late automotive journalist, Ray Brock. Unfortunately, his article chronicling your Dad's success only had limited circulation in the Handbook, and I felt it needed some greater exposure for another generation.Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14556710729275694644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620016616107080003.post-1852657389880474202009-06-13T20:27:38.447-05:002009-06-13T20:27:38.447-05:00This is such a great article! He is a real genius with the engines and is still the same, very humble, full of surprises and still tinkering with the 56 fords!

-Susan Miller DiMarinosuedimarinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03504662087587115537noreply@blogger.com
